2011 NFL Mock Draft Gives the Indianapolis Colts A Chance To Beef Up The Offensive Line
Tom Kinslow's Pick: One of the reasons Peyton Manning has been so successful in his career is because of the great protection he's gotten from his offensive line.
Last year, that protection started to break down and Manning was getting hit more and more as the offensive line suffered from injuries. It's also an older group, and now it's time to think about the future. With both Anthony Castonzo and Nate Solder off of the board, the logical choice is Gabe Carimi out of Wisconsin.
While he's not as dominant as Solder projects to be, Carimi is coming to the pros as a mountain of a man. He's a big, physical specimen and he's going to be a guy that can protect Manning and keep him upright, and that's the most important thing for the Colts in the first round of the draft.
