Top Receiver A.J. Green Could Be Drafted by Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals and A.J. Green have been placed together time and time again, especially by me. Myself and many others have this mock draft selection happening, with Cincinnati waiting until round two to take a much-needed quarterback.
As expected, A.J. Green is set to work out with the Bengals this week. He is visiting with them today, then is traveling to Cleveland Wednesday. Since Cincinnati has the first pick between the two, they don't have to worry about Cleveland's opinion of Green.
Carlos Holmes of the Oxford Press notes that Green is learning from one of the best receivers in the league:
"Arizona Cardinals Pro Bowl receiver Larry Fitzgerald has been mentoring the young receiver throughout this draft process. Fitzgerald is someone that Green is striving to pattern himself after upon entering the league."
