2011 NFL Mock Draft Has the New York Jets Plugging Running Lanes With Baylor's Phil Taylor in NFL Draft
I have fought with this Jets pick for a while now because for the longest time I said they would love the opportunity to get a pass rusher, but I still have trouble attributing value to the position at this stage in the first round.
The Jets have major free agent concerns they have to deal with when the league year finally starts, and their best bet will be to start covering their own end in the event they lose some players (which they will).
Looking at their offensive line, they could still use another guard, but that is not a major hole at the moment.
Wide receiver will have to be addressed at some point, but the first round is not the time do that.
