NFL Draft 2011 Experts Agree Cam Newton Is The Pick For Panthers
It's looking more and more likely that for a second straight year in the NFL draft, a Heisman winning quarterback will be the top pick.
Although former No. 1 pick, Sam Bradford, had an immediate impact for the St. Louis Rams last season, Cam Newton shouldn't be dealing with same kind of expectations.  Simply because he is still viewed as a project.
ESPN's Mel Kiper says:
"The one player in this draft who presents the biggest upside and the biggest risk, that's Cam Newton."
Newton is an impressive physical specimen with great size and athletic ability that could ultimately make him a great quarterback in the pros.  But nothing is guaranteed and many talent evaluators still think that he still needs to work on his accuracy and prove that he can play in a pro-style offense.
Kiper adds:
"...if they really see Newton as the transformative player that can be both a Pro Bowl quarterb...
