Cleveland Browns 2011 Schedule: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

The Cleveland Browns 2011 schedule has been released, and provided there is a season, many analysts are already weighing in with pros and cons, along with their final predictions.

After reviewing the Browns' schedule, coffee in hand and rain pouring down on my already soaked lawn, I have determined that the schedule resembles the latest round of Cleveland weather—The Good, The Bad and The Ugly!


The Good

The Browns open the season against the Cincinnati Bengals, a team trying to rebuild and possibly without their starting quarterback Carson Palmer. This is an opportunity for the Browns, with coach Pat Shurmur to start off on a high note.

Three of the four games to start the season are played at home—the Bengals, Miami Dolphins and the Tennessee Titans—while the Browns will travel to Indianapolis to face the Colts. Having three games at home, with one game away before entering the bye week can be viewed as a plus for any team.
