2011 NFL Mock Draft: Cam Newton First Overall to the Carolina Panthers

ESPN NFL draft experts Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay both agree that Auburn quarterback Cam Newton will be the first player selected by the Carolina Panthers.
With just over a week remaining until the draft, the excitement is still building up. Although Kiper and McShay share the opinion that Newton will be taken first, it is definitely no guarantee.
This pick doesn't have anywhere near the level of certainty that previous drafts have had, with players like JaMarcus Russell and Sam Bradford knowing well beforehand that they should be the top selection.
Especially with the NFL lockout still looming over our heads, the draft is hopefully going to bring back a few days a bliss that might be missed otherwise.
