Jacksonville Jaguars: Second-Year Players to Watch During 2011 NFL Season

General manager Gene Smith has put a solid plan of player acquisition together during the past two seasons. His draft strategy has been methodical and unemotional. He picks by his board, not McShay's, Kiper's, Maycock's or based on fanatic requests.
You've got to get the big guys early. You take a franchise player when you can match value with the pick, but never before. You also have some leeway when it comes to the later rounds.
This year's draft raised as many eyebrows as the one in 2010, with the Jaguars trading up from the 16th pick in the first round to the 10th pick of the draft with the Washington Redskins in order to select Blaine Gabbert, the quarterback from Missouri.
