Of course it’s hard to come up with shocking picks, but truthfully you have to be thinking against what everyone else is thinking. For instance, it would have been easy to say that the 49ers are going to lose, but I didn’t feel that was a shocker. I think the 49ers are a suspect team to begin with.
Of course, of all the predictions the one that should raise the biggest argument is Tebow beating the Steelers in the opening round. Again, you can call it crazy and that, on paper, there is no way that should happen.
I agree with that, but Tebow has made his whole season on going against the grain, so I can’t imagine why it has to stop in the playoffs. Of course, the Steelers are going to come hungry, and if I’m wrong, it’s going to be a blood bath for Timmy Terrific—but the Mile High Messiah may have one more win in him.
