Vernon Davis Video: Watch 49ers TE’s Emotional Celebration with Jim Harbaugh

There is crying in football and it seems to happen every time a 49ers receiver (or tight end) makes an enormous catch in the postseason to win the game.
Remember the catch Terrell Owens made 14 years ago against the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs.
Many in San Francisco refer to the Terrell Owens grab as "The Catch 2", obviously after "The Catch" in 1980. The legendary connection from Joe Montana to Dwight Clark. Well Dwight Clark didn't cry as far as we know, but T.O. did, and so did Vernon Davis.
If you haven't seen it, check it out, even when Davis goes to the sidelines. It is a great player-coach moment.
It was a great catch, and honestly, if you've ever competed in organized sports you may be able to understand the emotion that drives these guys.
In situations like this, the emotions can easily spill over.
If the Owens grab was "The Catch 2", then the Davis catch could very well be "The Catch 3", but it is "The Cry 2".
It was a great game ...
