Eric Winston Signs with Kansas City Chiefs: Deal, Analysis and Grade

The Kansas City Chiefs made arguably their biggest signing this offseason when they inked free-agent RT Eric Winston to a deal on Saturday.
As of right now, the details of his contract with KC have not been released.
Winston was a member of the Houston Texans for the past six seasons, as he made 87 total starts during that time frame.
The former third-round pick out of Miami is one of the most underrated tackles in the league, as he did his part to keep Texans quarterbacks clean and helped to pave the way for two 1,000-yard rushers for Houston in 2011.
Right tackle was easily the Chiefs' worst position along the line last year, as veteran Barry Richardson graded out as one of the worst players at his spot in the entire league.
By adding the Pro Bowl-caliber Winston, Kansas City has made a major upgrade at RT. He is solid in pass protection, but his strength is in run blocking, as he excels in getting to the second level of a defense.
