NFL Rumors: RB LeSean McCoy Close to Extension with Eagles?

With all the regrets and terrible memories stemming from DeSean Jackson's contract situation in 2011, the Philadelphia Eagles are ready to avoid a similar situation this year with star running back LeSean McCoy.
According to a report by Philly.com Sportsweek's Paul Domowitch, which was re-reported by ProFootballTalk, the Eagles and LeSean McCoy are "optimistic" about putting a deal into place within the next couple weeks.
Any time before the draft seems realistic.
McCoy recently tweeted about a fake Forte contract worth 7 years/$120 million, just showing that he is anxious for a new deal.
However, LeSean's demeanor makes it seem like he isn't the type of player who will cop-out because of contract problems.
To add clarity to the rumors, Reid recently said the following at the NFL meetings in Florida:
