2012 NFL Draft: Abilene Christian University Running Back Daryl Richardson

Daryl Richardson is a dynamic running back from Abilene Christian University that can make plays in space.  At his recent pro day on April 3rd, he measured in at 5’10-1/2” and 192 pounds.  He told me that he was unofficially clocked at 4.45 seconds in his 40-yard dash.  That time may not do Richardson justice, as he is more laterally quick than straight-line fast.
Richardson had an incredible pro day workout.  He vertical jumped 40-1/2” and broad jumped 11’3”.  These particular tests measure the explosion in a player’s legs.  It is clearly there.
I caught up with Richardson after his pro day, and we talked about his time at Abilene Christian and his future in the NFL.
I asked him what he will look back on most from his college football days. 
He said, “just hanging out with my friends and playing with them every day.”
