2012 NFL Draft: Analyzing Quinton Coples to the New York Jets

The New York Jets suffered from a disappointing season last year. The team capped off the season with a lackluster 8-8 record and failed to make the playoffs for the first time since 2008. The New York Jets failed to meet their expectations, and the team was in need of a change or two.
Without going into the Tim Tebow drama, the New York Jets have changed quite a bit. New York had their eyes set on the draft, and they tried to cash in when the time came. The Jets held the 16th overall pick in this year's draft, and they selected Quinton Coples, a defensive end out of the University of North Carolina.
This was a questionable pick for the Jets, and it received a mixed reaction from the Jets fans in attendance for the draft. Many draft analysts said that Coples' problem is his supposed lack of effort from time to time. His dedication to the game is routinely questioned, and his motor has also been criticized.
