The 2012 football season is closer than we think.
OTAs are in full swing, and training camps are less than two months away.
But believe it or not, the next few months still count as an audition process for some of those recently-drafted rookies.
Sure, the likes of Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III don’t have to worry about competing for a starting job.
But for other members of the 2012 draft class, OTAs and training camp are yet another competition to prove that they are worthy of being included in the 53-man minimum for each NFL team’s roster.
Lucky for some of these players, making that roster shouldn’t be too difficult.
