Miami Dolphins Reportedly Reach Agreement with Rookie Quarterback Ryan Tannehill

According insider information obtained by Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Miami Dolphins and rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill have agreed to terms on a new contract. As of right now, the terms of the deal are unknown, but more information will be available as time goes on.
The Texas A&M product has already missed two of the Dolphins training camp practices, which as Matt Moore says (via the Miami Herald), is about 96 plays per day.
Getting Tannehill into camp is crucial for getting the rookie the repetitions necessary for him to develop. It also gives him a chance to push quarterbacks David Garrard and Matt Moore for a starting spot, though not likely.
Tannehill was the only first-round quarterback to not be signed to a deal yet, so this is great news that he signed on the dotted line sooner rather than later.
