Giants-Jets: Big Blue Acts Part of Defending Super Bowl Champs in 26-3 Stomping

Normally, I'm not that big into preseason games. But tonight, I had quite an interest.
All week, the local media was talking about the MetLife Bowl that would take place between the New York Giants and New York Jets Saturday night.
Its level of importance was nowhere near as high as the game that was played back on Christmas Eve during Week 16, but this one was more important to the fans in the New Jersey and New York area.
On Saturday night, the Giants played the part of defending Super Bowl champions, while the Jets looked like the little brothers that just got slapped around.
In the first half, there wasn't a whole lot of offense on display; Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes had most of the points for a while with a 35-yard field goal and a 30-yard field goal, which made it 6-0.
In the first half, Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz looked sharp as he caught five passes for 51 yards.
