Aqib Talib: Buccaneers CB Suspended 4 Games for Taking Adderall

In the latest incident in what has been a troubling pattern of off-field behavior, Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Aqib Talib has been suspended by the NFL for four games for using Adderall, according to the Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson:

Widely used to treat patients with attention-deficit disorder, Adderall has become a drug of choice (especially among college students) for those looking for an extra boost in concentration.
While it's unclear why or when Talib took the medication, according to ProFootballTalk, the NFL "allows players to take it (Adderall) if they go through the proper channels and can demonstrate a medical need to use it."
Though this is his first known run-in with the substance-abuse policy, it should be noted that this is not Talib's first run-in with the league office.
