2012 Fantasy Football Week 7: Quarterback (QB) Rankings / Projections

If you’ve normally started Robert Griffin III in your lineup this year, hopefully you kept him in starting against the Vikings. His 76-yard touchdown was a big part of his fantasy day, but with 13 carries for 138 yards and two scores on the ground, Griffin proved he would run even after his concussion.
What separates Griffin from Michael Vick is that he learned from his injury last week and did a good job of protecting himself from big hits in this game.
Blitz Griffin and run the risk of him breaking a long-running play, don’t blitz him and he has the accuracy to beat you in the passing game. No doubt Griffin still makes his rookie mistakes and will have his tough days on the football field this year, but he is also worthy of being one of the top five fantasy quarterbacks, like Cam Newton was in his rookie year.
