Eagles vs. Redskins: Instant Grades, Analysis for Philadelphia

The Philadelphia Eagles (3-6) will desperately try to get their season back on track against the Washington Redskins on Sunday. The Eagles have lost five consecutive games for the first time ever under Andy Reid, and a loss Sunday all but disqualifies them for the playoffs.
Since the NFL expanded to the 16-game schedule in 1978, no team has started the season 3-7 and made the postseason. That doesn't mean the Eagles are mathematically eliminated. But a loss sure wouldn't help the Eagles, who face an uphill battle as it is.
