2012 Fantasy Football Week 12: Team Defense Rankings / Projections

Any defense matched up against the Chiefs is a good fantasy start going forward. When you combine Kansas City’s anemic offense matched up against a Broncos defense that is ranked 12th against the pass and sixth against the run, with 35 sacks and 14 interceptions, you have one of the better matchups for week 12.
With Peyton Manning in town, Denver’s defense is enjoying the luxury of playing with a lead throughout most of their recent games.
When that happens, stud pass rushers like Von Miller and Elvis Dumervil can focus on what they do best—rushing the passer. While the Chiefs have yet to name a starting quarterback this week, whomever gets the call is going to have a long day, especially if Dwayne Bowe misses the game with a neck injury.
