San Diego Chargers Lose Two More Players to Season-Ending Injuries

As if the 31-7 blowout loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday wasn't bad enough, the San Diego Chargers were dealt yet another blow when wide receiver Malcom Floyd and guard Reggie Wells were placed on the injured reserve list for the remaining two weeks of the season.
According to a report from Chargers.com, Floyd injured his ankle late in the game as the Chargers were running out the clock.
Wells, who was starting in his second consecutive game, injured his ankle and toe in the second half.
This move come on the heels of the addition of running back Ryan Mathews, who was placed on injured reserve on Monday after sustaining an injury to his surgically repaired shoulder against the Panthers as well.
Mathews originally broke his clavicle after taking his first snap of the preseason against the Green Bay Packers. He missed the rest of the preseason as well as the first two games of the regular season.
