Joe Webb Throws Worst Hail Mary in NFL History

January 6, 2013   ·     ·   Jump to comments

There are not enough words in the English language to describe the horror that was Joe Webb's Hail Mary attempt on Saturday night.
With four seconds remaining on the game clock in the second quarter between the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers, Webb attempted to hit Devin Aromashodu on the right sideline.
Epic. Fail.
Webb's pass bounced about five yards in front of Aromashodu, and the worst part about the play is that his receiver was wide open—and I mean, wide open.
This wasn't the only ugly pass Webb attempted on Saturday night, but it was the worst Hail Mary in NFL history—bar none.
Pee-Wee league quarterbacks were weeping at the sight of this one, folks. It was that bad.
Oh, well. There's always the second half.
The Packers took a 17-3 lead into halftime, and this game looks like it might get even uglier before it's over.
