Randy Moss Reportedly Won’t Be Back with San Francisco 49ers Next Season

Randy Moss has been one of the most explosive receivers in the history of the NFL during his 14-year career. However, after a disappointing 2012-13 season in San Francisco, it appears the defending NFC champions will choose to look for wide receiver help elsewhere.

Moss confirmed that he would not be returning to the 49ers with a tweet on his personal Twitter account, thanking the fans and wishing the organization the best of luck in the future:

That's the latest from Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, who reports that a league source with knowledge of the situation says the 49ers told others they will "steer clear" of Moss next season.
