It may seem as though the NFL is in a relatively quiet period between the advent of free agency and April's draft, but the news cycle never truly slows down.
Rumors are constantly swirling about in this league, with trades always brewing, free agents finding new homes and teams tipping their caps about what they may do in the draft.
Most of the big news currently floating around involves quarterbacks. With Carson Palmer not budging on his $13 million contract, his potential release from the Oakland Raiders could have massive implications that are felt by every NFL team looking for a quarterback. The market immediately becomes more interesting if Palmer is a part of it.
