New York Giants: A Recent History of the No. 19 Overall Pick

The New York Giants are picking 19th again in the NFL draft. When that last happened, two years ago, the Giants went on to win the Super Bowl that season. Of course, there's little correlation there because top pick Prince Amukamara didn't play much of a role. 
Still, it could be a sign!
Or not...
Either way, it's consolation for a difficult, playoff-less season that the G-Men get to pick inside the top 20. They need help on defense, as well as on the offensive line. But don't get your hopes up in regard to the latter because this organization hasn't drafted an offensive lineman in the first round since 1999. 
Oh, and don't expect linebacker help, either. They haven't drafted a player at that position in Round 1 since 1984, when the president was James Garfield. Or something like that.
