Washington Redskins 2013 NFL Draft: 26 Prospects Include Six Offensive Players

The Washington Redskins have held private workouts and multiple meetings with two NFL Draft prospects—safeties Phillip Thomas of Fresno State and Duke Williams of Nevada, reaffirming the teams intention to improve the secondary with the 51st pick in next weeks NFL Draft.
According to WalterFootball.com, the Redskins have also had multiple meetings with South Carolina Safety D.J. Swearinger and held a private workout for Florida International Safety Jonathan Cyprien. 
Overall, the Redskins held meetings with 26 prospects—either at the Combine, the Senior Bowl, East-West Shrine Game or Pro-Day. Only six prospects were offensive players and 17-of-20 defensive prospects were secondary players.
The Redskins have indicated throughout the offseason their intention and desire to improve the defensive secondary and that certainly is apparent in their offseason meetings with NFL prospects.
