Seattle Seahawks Fans to Attempt Guinness World Record for Loudest Stadium

Seattle fans are the best in the world—at least, that's what the fine denizens of Emerald City will attempt to prove during the upcoming NFL season. 
The Seattle Post-Intelligencer and NFL.com are reporting that the Seahawks will try to show the good people at Guinness World Records that they have not only the loudest stadium in the league, but also the most raucous in the world. Per Seattle P-I:
Not officially connected with the team, Volume 12 has successfully applied with Guinness to attempt the new world record, according to the group’s Facebook page. Guinness has sent Volume 12 the materials needed to submit proof of the 12th Man’s record attempt.
You can almost feel the tremors emanating from CenturyLink Field.
