Tim Tebow Will Be Non-Factor in New England Patriots’ Offense

The New England Patriots signed quarterback Tim Tebow this offseason, but that doesn't mean they signed him to jump into a big role. New England has put together one of the NFL's best offenses in recent years and aren't going to change it for the high-profile quarterback.
Looking at his possibilities with the team strictly at quarterback, Tebow can't be anything more than the No. 3 quarterback. Ryan Mallett has been New England's backup to Tom Brady since being drafted out of Arkansas in 2011.
There have been talks about trading Mallett in the past, but there's a reason the Patriots have never gone through with the idea. Head coach Bill Belichick realizes that Brady has only so many years left and Mallett has great potential.
Like Tebow, Mallett has a cannon for an arm, but the latter can also throw with a degree of accuracy that the former doesn't have.
