Green Bay Packers Cut Vince Young: Who Will Be Their No. 2 Quarterback?

The Green Bay Packers made the decision to cut backup quarterback Vince Young on Saturday, according to NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal. With Young gone, the only quarterback left on the roster behind Aaron Rodgers is B.J. Coleman.
Coleman was the starting quarterback at the University of Tennessee at Chatanooga (UTC) for three years from 2009-2011. He threw for a career total of 6,871 yards and 52 touchdowns. In 2012, the Packers chose him in the seventh round.
There is little to assess when reviewing his performance in the preseason. Against the Kansas City Chiefs, he was 2-of-7 for 19 yards.
While the releases of former backup Graham Harrell and Young bring Coleman closer to more playing time, it is likely that Green Bay will looking for another quarterback in the upcoming weeks. Available quarterbacks who were also cut on Saturday include Brady Quinn, Tim Tebow and Jimmy Clausen. Quinn and Clausen remain the two most likely candidates.
