San Francisco 49ers Sign Tramaine Brock to 4-Year Contract Extension

San Francisco 49ers cornerback Tramaine Brock was signed to a four-year contract extension on Friday.
The team's official Twitter account reported the news, noting that the new deal runs through the 2017 season:
Brock was an undrafted free agent who signed with San Francisco in 2010 out of Belhaven College, but he stuck on the roster and has since made himself a fixture for the Niners' vaunted defense in the secondary.
According to the 49ers' website, general manager Trent Baalke shared some kind words regarding Brock's ascent into a productive player after having zero NFL teams give him a shot on draft day:
Tramaine is a great example of what hard work and dedication can lead to. He has taken advantage of his opportunities since signing with our team as an undrafted free agent in 2010 and has certainly earned this extension.  Extending the contracts of our young and talented players has always been, and will continue to be, one of our primary goals.
