Kirk Cousins Thinks Robert Griffin III Will Weigh in on Redskins’ Coaching Hunt

Robert Griffin III was a major focal point in the removal of Mike Shanahan as head coach of the Washington Redskins. Apparently, the quarterback could now be part of the process of bringing in a new coach.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, backup quarterback Kirk Cousins feels that Griffin will have input in the coaching hunt:
Per Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, the Redskins are denying this claim:
Team spokesman Tony Wyllie points out via email, in response to our item containing quotes Cousins apparently gave to ESPN, that G.M. Bruce Allen has said that Griffin won’t be involved in the process.
Redskins owner Dan Snyder is obviously fond of the second-year quarterback and believes he can be a big part of the team's future after he was drafted with the second-overall pick in 2012.
