Adrian Peterson Injury: Updates on Vikings Star’s Groin and Recovery

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will reportedly have a specialist evaluate his groin to see whether or not he'll need surgery in the offseason.
Tom Pelissero of USA Today reported that the star running back will be heading to Philadelphia during the next week:
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is scheduled to visit Philadelphia-based specialist Dr. William Meyers next week to evaluate his troublesome groin and decide if surgery is needed, a person with knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports on Saturday.
Peterson, 28, missed two of the Vikings' last three games because of the groin as well as a foot injury and dropped out of the Pro Bowl last week.
He originally hurt the groin back in November in a loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
