Raiders QB Matt Schaub Leaves Texans as Franchise’s All-Time Leading Passer

Per NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the Oakland Raiders traded a sixth-round draft pick to the Houston Texans on Friday in exchange for quarterback Matt Schaub, who exits Houston as the 12-year-old franchise's all-time leader in nearly every major passing category.
The former University of Virginia Cavalier was traded from the Atlanta Falcons to Houston in March 2007, and he sat atop the Texans quarterback depth chart from the time of the deal until Week 9 of the 2013 season.
Things started going downhill for Schaub late in 2012, when he posted a touchdown-to-interception ratio of 1-to-3 in his final four games of the regular season, before bowing out in the second round of the playoffs for the second year in a row. He then struggled early in the 2013 campaign, setting an NFL record by throwing a pick-six in four consecutive games from Weeks 2 to 5.
