DeMarcus Lawrence Injury: Updates on Cowboys Rookie’s Ankle and Return

The one thing every NFL team and player wants to avoid in training camp in late July is injuries, and DeMarcus Lawrence and the Dallas Cowboys were unable to do so Tuesday.

Nothing has been confirmed, but it doesn't sound good according to Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram:
While there is plenty of time before the actual season starts, the fact that Lawrence was helped by a trainer and carted off the field is an ominous sign when discussing the potential severity of this setback. This certainly isn’t something the rookie wanted to undergo before even stepping foot on an NFL field for an actual game.
The Cowboys selected Lawrence with the No. 34 overall pick in the draft and were hoping he could shore up their vulnerable defense. ...
