Sammy Watkins Injury: Updates on Bills WR’s Ribs and Return

The Buffalo Bills received a huge scare during Saturday night's preseason contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers when wide receiver Sammy Watkins left the game in the first quarter with an apparent rib injury, according to a pair of tweets from Mike Rodak of ESPN.com:

Watkins went down after being wrapped up by rookie linebacker Ryan Shazier following an incomplete pass. He immediately began grabbing his side and had some apparent trouble getting off the field. Robert Woods entered the game in his absence.
Last season with Clemson, Watkins recorded 101 receptions for 1,464 yards and 12 touchdowns. He was widely heralded as one of the most dynamic wide receivers in the draft, which prompted Buffalo to trade up to select him with the fourth overall pick.
