For the second time in the 2014 preseason, the New Orleans Saints take to the road, as coach Sean Payton’s squad heads to Indianapolis to take on the Colts on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. CDT.
Tonight's game will be each club's third contest of the preseason, which is commonly referred to as the dress rehearsal.
Starters typically play longer in the third exhibition contest, and each offensive and defensive unit will try to sustain some success over an extended period of time.
For the 2-0 Saints, tonight marks the return of starting quarterback Drew Brees, who has missed the first two contests with a strained oblique.
For Saints fans, this could be their first opportunity to see Brees work with 2014 first-round draft pick Brandin Cooks, who has turned heads throughout training camp.
