Jerry Rice Comments on Jim Harbaugh’s Status with 49ers

Sitting at 4-4 at the season's midpoint, the San Francisco 49ers are far removed from the team that was one possession away from an NFC championship in January. Count Hall of Fame receiver Jerry Rice among those placing the blame on Jim Harbaugh—or, more specifically, the speculation surrounding the increasingly embattled coach.      
"With Jim Harbaugh, there’s a lot of questions out there right now," Rice told Sports Illustrated's Pro Football Now, claiming that he thinks Harbaugh will be "gone" after this season. "We don’t really know if he wants to come back and be the head coach for the San Francisco 49ers...Maybe that’s starting to wear and tear on the team and it’s taking its toll."
