Mike Evans Reaches 10 Touchdown Receptions as a Rookie

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans caught his ninth and 10th touchdown passes of the season in Sunday's 34-17 loss to the Detroit Lions, becoming just the fourth rookie in the past 30 years to record double-digit touchdown receptions, per Elias Sports Bureau (via ESPN.com).
Evans joins Randy Moss (17 in 1998), Rob Gronkowski (10 in 2008) and Mike Williams (10 in 2010), the last of whom also accomplished the feat in a Buccaneers uniform. Moss, meanwhile, holds the all-time rookie record for touchdown catches, sitting four ahead of the second-place 13 produced by Billy Howton (1952) and John Jefferson (1978), per NFL.com.
Going back to 1920, there have been 15 occurrences of a rookie catching 10 or more touchdown passes. Alyn Beals of the AAFC's 1946 San Francisco 49ers was the first to ever accomplish the feat, per Pro-Football-Reference.com's play index.
