Malcom Brown: Breaking Down Texas DT’s Pro Day Workout

Texas defensive tackle Malcom Brown is one of the top players at the position in the 2015 draft class. He was only a limited participant at the Longhorns' pro day on Tuesday after a solid showing at the NFL Scouting Combine last month.
Brown showcased a nice combination of power, athleticism and short-area quickness for an interior lineman at the combine. The event's official site notes he ran a 5.05-second 40-yard dash and posted 26 reps on the bench press along with taking part in four other tests.
The Texas native is confident he'll be able to make an impact regardless of scheme. Frank Cooney of CBS Sports provided the tackle's thoughts about possibly shifting to end in a 3-4 look.
"Give me a position to play in, and I'll play it: 3-4, 4-3, doesn't matter. There's not that big of a difference between nose and end," Brown said.
