Aaron Ross, Everette Brown to Browns: Latest Contract Details and Reaction

Looking to shore up their depth heading into Week 2 of the preseason, the Cleveland Browns announced the signing of veterans Aaron Ross and Everette Brown on Sunday.
Ross, 32, last played for the Baltimore Ravens in 2014. The former Texas standout spent the entire season on injured reserve after tearing his Achilles tendon last July. He has 11 career interceptions in eight NFL seasons, setting a career high with four while playing for the Giants in 2011. In addition to New York and Baltimore, Ross also spent the 2012 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Brown, 28, last played for Washington in 2014. He made six tackles in as many games, largely appearing on special teams. Drafted in the second round in 2009, Brown has mostly failed in developing into a solid edge-rusher. He has made only seven career sacks in six seasons, playing for the Carolina Panthers, San Diego Chargers, Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys, along with Washington.
