Plaxico Burress Cracks ‘Fall Guy’ Joke After Cris Carter’s Speech

By now, we’ve all heard about the unfortunate comments Hall of Fame-wide-receiver-turned-analyst Cris Carter made at the 2014 NFL rookie symposium. 
For those who've been living under a rock, the former Minnesota Viking advised the young fellas to have a “fall guy” in their crew. He later apologized, but still—ouch.
Former Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Giants and New York Jets receiver Plaxico Burress famously spent time in jail for violating the Big Apple’s gun laws after accidentally shooting himself in the leg while in a nightclub.
On Monday, Plax weighed in on the Carter controversy. The Super Bowl hero straddled the line between joking and seriousness:
