Vikings Stadium Worker Dies in Fall from Roof

A construction worker died Wednesday at the site of the Minnesota Vikings' new stadium after falling off the roof, while another suffered critical injuries.
Per a report from the Associated Press, Mortenson Construction Vice President John Wood said the accident occurred around 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday morning, at which point "the workers were taken to a hospital, where one died and the other was in critical condition." 
The Vikings have released an official statement on the accident through their website:
Today is an extremely sad day for the Minnesota Vikings organization and the entire stadium team. Our sincere thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of the individual who passed away, the worker who remains hospitalized, and the more than 1,000 dedicated construction workers who are on the site every day and are also affected by this accident.
