Andre Branch Injury: Updates on Jaguars DE’s Knee and Return

The Jacksonville Jaguars defensive line has taken another hit before the regular season starts, as Andre Branch suffered a knee injury in Friday's preseason game against Detroit.

Branch Out Through At Least Week 1Saturday, Aug. 29According to the Jaguars' official Twitter account, Branch will be out for a significant amount of time after suffering a sprained MCL. 
While he didn't provide an official timetable for Branch's return, Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley did not sound optimistic about the short-term prognosis:
It's been a rough couple of seasons for Branch, who missed seven games last season with a groin injury. He's shown flashes of promise in three seasons, recording a career-high six sacks in 2013, but staying on the field is becoming a problem.
