Titans vs. Chiefs Game Ends Early Due to Lightning, Inclement Weather

The Kansas City Chiefs hosted the Tennessee Titans for a preseason clash Friday night, but severe rain and lightning caused the game to get called late in the fourth quarter with the Chiefs leading 34-10.
According to ESPN's Ed Werder, the Chiefs and Titans both opened dialogue with the league office and decided to forgo the final three minutes, 50 seconds of game action due to the harsh conditions.
The Chiefs improved to 3-0 in tune-up play with the win, while the Titans fell to 1-2 with the loss.
In the victory, Kansas City's first-team offense put on a show thanks to some superlative efforts through the air. Not only did tight end Travis Kelce catch two passes for 42 yards and a touchdown, but Jeremy Maclin led the Chiefs with seven catches for 65 yards and a score.
Maclin caught an Alex Smith (16-of-18, 171 yards, 2 TDs) pass and took it 29 yards for the game's opening score, per the NFL on Twitter:
