Putting money on NFL games is a market, and like every market, timing is everything. Some underdogs have become larger underdogs while the week has gone on, while other lines are closer to toss-ups now. Others have completely flipped, like the New York Jets, who were home dogs at first but are now favorites over the struggling Philadelphia Eagles.
If you wanted to net the Jets, the opening line was for you. If you wanted the Eagles, this is the perfect time to strike.
