Brent Grimes Injury: Updates on Dolphins Star’s Knee and Return

Miami Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes suffered a knee injury against the New York Jets in Week 4 and would not return, per the Jets.

This is a difficult blow for the Dolphins if Grimes is out for a significant period of time. He entered his ninth season in 2015 and is a veteran leader in the defensive backfield. He picked off 22 passes in his first eight years in the league, nine of which came the last two years for Miami after six years with the Atlanta Falcons.
He is a three-time Pro Bowler and was a member of the Associated Press’ second-team All-NFL squad in 2014. He entered Week 4 with 10 tackles and one interception this season.
