Chicago Bears Try To Move up in 2010 NFL Draft

April 23, 2010   ·     ·   Jump to comments

According to HalasObserver, via Twitter, the Chicago Bears are talking to the New England Patriots about acquiring one of their three second-rounders.
Currently, the highest the Pats have right now is the 12th spot.
If Nate Allen, safety from South Florida and Lovie Smith's personal favorite, is on the board by the time the Patriots come to pick, most likely their last second-round pick is in discussion.
To me, this isn't too surprising.
Lovie has his man in position to be picked up, and the Bears are jumping for any opportunity lately.
Don't expect too much, though. This is speculation, point blank.
But, all the speculation has been true so far.
Follow me via Twitter to keep up-to-date with the happenings. I'm trying my best to let you guys, my fellow Bears fans, know about any small detail.
Let's all hope for the best, and happy drafting!
