Chris Ivory Injury: Updates on Jets Star’s Hamstring and Return

New York Jets running back Chris Ivory injured his hamstring against the New England Patriots in a Week 7 30-23 loss. Ivory doesn't believe the injury will force him to miss future game time.

Ivory Comments on Severity of Injury Monday, Oct. 26 "I felt a little tightness in my hamstring the first play," Ivory said, per Seth Walder of the New York Daily News, who provided additional details:
He [Ivory] added that he thought he wasn't as warm coming out of the locker room after pregame as he maybe would have liked to be.
They took out Ivory for a series, here or there, while the running back tried to stretch out the sore muscle. He ultimately played most of the game but even he admitted that his hamstring was affecting him.
"Yeah," Ivory said. "I didn't have the confidence in getting around the edge."
"I'm fine," he said. "I'm ready to go for next week."
