Fantasy Football Week 8: Waiver-Wire Pickups, Rankings and Stat Projections

Week 8 of the NFL season means we have officially reached the second half in almost all fantasy football leagues around the world. If you've made it this far without suffering at least one or two crippling injuries, continue doing whatever it is you have been doing. You don't want to anger the fantasy gods.
A high-scoring Sunday featured a bevy of points and a few more tough injuries, namely to Arian Foster and his torn Achilles, according to ESPN.com's Tania Gagnuli. As fantasy owners must always do, it's now time to plow through the second half and pick up the pieces.
