Beason Put On Injured ReserveSaturday, Nov. 7After getting torched for 52 points against the New Orleans Saints during Week 8, the Giants defense received some tough news Saturday, as the team placed Beason on season-ending injured reserve, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. 
This makes five seasons dominated by injury, as Pro Football Focus' Pete Damilatis pointed out:
It's a tough pill for the Giants to swallow, having signed Beason to a three-year, $17 million deal last season that has become one of the worst signings of general manager Jerry Reese's time with New York.
